Hot of the art table are some more items continuing the Tracks in Time theme. There is another Surfboard featuring the green turtle interacting with Humans, then a Kangaroo and two Koalas. This series depicts wildlife tracks meandering across the work, with my signature waves washing across them. The tracks the wildlife leave are fleeting and just a moment in time, weather and waves erase them, leaving nothing behind to indicate they have ever been there. Sadly, this mirrors the lives of some species becoming endangered or extinct.

In these artworks the surfboard shape is a reference to the green turtles ocean habitat. The other three are shaped as the featured species impacted and the wildlife tracks shown are that species and human footprints. These species are still with us, however more and more are falling to interactions with humans. They are being hit by cars/boats, having their habitat eradicated in the name of progress and succumbing to diseases. In these artworks that is represented by the tracks coming against the footprints and disappearing. There are some footprints keeping their distance. This is representing good interactions with the species and in some cases even efforts to assist. There is still time to turn the tides on extinction and ensure tracks continue to be left in time for generations to see.

These items can be purchased from Velias Galleria , Ettalong https://veliasgalleria.com/ or by contacting me directly if preferred.
Items are handcrafted wooden boards, with multiple layers or resin and hand drawn tracks and footprints. I use and recommend Resinart resin and JustResin pigments.
