Open your Eyes – Endangered, Numbat

Description

Open your Eyes – Endangered , Numbat, Is the second in my series to raise awareness of the fragile nature of wildlife. Many species are in a protected status while unfortunately more each year are entering the endangered category and sadly some are becoming Extinct. This series is urging us to open our eyes to this, before its too late. The series depicts an eye and within the reflection is an animal. This second in the series, depicts a dimly lit female eye and the Endangered Numbat reflected in the eye. It is symbolising an urgency for reflection and the impending danger of inaction. There is time for people to hear the message and take action to save our wildlife, but will they?

• The first in the series depicts a youthful female eye and the protected Grey Kangaroo reflected in the eye.
• The last is of an old man implying in time if nothing is done we will not have the wildlife with us anymore.
